Hace unos meses les contábamos acerca del músico Somalí que atravesó fronteras con su música hiphopera, y que felizmente conocí a través de la música de NatGeo. Hoy nos enteramos, para sorpresa de todos, que K’naan ha sido elegido por la organización del Mundial 2010 en Sudáfrica como el artista que interprete el himno oficial del torneo.

Su canción: “Waving Flag” será escuchada por millones de personas de todas partes del planeta, y sin dudas será el principio de un nuevo hito musical para Sudáfrica. El tono, las notas musicales, la letra, su significado y la voz de K’naan ya ganan adeptos, y va por más!
